This Aries one-design boat was designed and built by H.S Bemister for the Christchurch Sailing Club in the 1950s. Clinker planked in varnished mahogany and fully copper rivet fastened to steam-bent oak timbers, these boats were lovingly hand-crafted from the best materials.
‘Corina’ is sturdy and can be easily sailed by a crew of two, but has plenty of space for more – she sails well, is very stable and represents an excellent family boat for crews of young people with space for picnic and swimming gear.
Featuring a lifting centre-plate she is ideal for sailing right up to the beach making her a perfect option for a family day out on the water, exploring coves and inlets and stopping for lunch in those hard-to-access places.
Following an extensive renovation process, Corina has been beautifully restored and looks as good as the day she was first launched!
